The traditional, family-run Hotel Goldener Ochs offers a central location in the spa town of Bad Ischl, a large spa area, and free WiFi access. Some of the spacious rooms offer romantic views of the Traun River. Opened in 1791, the Goldener Ochs has hosted many famous personalities, including the composer Franz Léhar, who used to dine in the hotel restaurant “Léhar-Stuben”, which is famous for its classic cuisine. The spa area is flooded with light features classic and Ayurveda massages (at an additional cost), Kneipp baths, infrared seats, two saunas and a fitness studio, as well as Austria’s only salt graduator and a relaxation room with mountain views. The family-run Hotel located at the river Traun in the city center blends tradition with individual, modern design and a contemporary holiday experience. The hotel features an exceptional bar and a spa area that includes an indoor pool and sunny gardens.When booking more than 7 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Children of all ages are allowed. Children 3 and under stay for free when using an available crib. Children 3 and under stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 5 to 13 years old stay for € 40 per person, per night when using an available extra bed. Children from 14 to 16 years old stay for € 65 per person, per night when using an available extra bed. People 17 and up stay for € 70 per person, per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Additional fees are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
